Geothermal Heating and Cooling Systems
(60 min) 10:00 am / ACT 103
Presented by: James Ashley, Green Mountain Geothermal
Ben Luce, Ph.D. Asst. Professor of Physics, Lyndon State College
Did you know that you have an unlimited heat source in your back yard! Learn how a geothermal heat pump can mine this stored solar energy and transform it into one of the least costly ways to heat and cool your Vermont home. With minor changes you may even be able to use your existing water well to obtain this ground heat. With no delivery or storage of fuel, a geothermal system is one of the best low carbon natural heating and cooling systems available. Come and learn more!
